Our dinner table conversation was very informational tonight. Adam decided it was imperative to communicate his thoughts and concerns about the presidential race. And in retrospect I can see why it was such a matter of urgency. He initiated the topic by saying, (and this is almost word-for-word the way he delivered his message) "There's this dude. His name is Obama. We shouldn't vote for him because he wants to make all pre-schoolers and kindergarteners kiss girls!" ...FOR SHAME! How scandalous! I thought I was pretty savvy on the important issues of each platform. I guess this pivotal point missed my keen eye. Fortunately for me, my anti-girl-smooching kindergartener knew there were hidden agendas looming in Obama's campaign.

We asked him where he'd heard this appalling bit of information. "One of the neighborhood kids."
I've learned a valuable lesson. The liberal media will no longer be my source for gathering key information in this presidential race. No—they skim over the important stuff. From now on I go to the authority on secret campaign issues—I go to the third grader two houses away.
I wonder what he thinks about pork barrel spending?

Too cute! Kids say the darndest things. I love the concerned citizen photo he does look very concerned.
Reading this, in combination with this picture made me laugh out loud.
Thanks
Knowing Adam, I thought I was ready for what was going to come out of his mouth, but this one caught me off-guard....I laughed...a LOT!
Go Adam!!
For the sake of all anti-kissing kindergartners everywhere I should take another look at the issues!:)
What a great post for such a politically historic day!
How Cute! That does it. I'm not voting for Obama.
I was wondering while reading this darling innocent story if my kids were responsible for this but was greatly relieved when you said two houses down & not across the street. I am now wondering what other "issues" our children are thinking about. Eliza has been in shock to hear on the news that people won't vote for Obama because of the color of his skin & said if she could vote she would vote for him just to say ha to those who are raceist. I told her that is very loving but there are much more important things to focuss on like kissing!
This was a good one Adam!! Hehe
Ha ha. Meanwhile, the kids two houses away from us are trying to teach my kids to swear!
Oh my stars, I can hardly contain my laughter. This is so stinking funny. I would be way concerned too if I had been that informed as a child. Boys! Kissing! My world might just have ended. So cute.
I'm w/ Leah- glad it wasn't the kid next door that passed on this scandalous tidbit!
