Art Night At The BDAC

We went to the Bountiful/Davis Art Center tonight. We go nearly every third Monday. They change the exhibit monthly and provide activities and treats. You can't beat that.

This month was the high school student exhibit. There are a lot of talented students here in Davis County. The kids played an "I spy" scavenger hunt with the art displays and then moved to the basement to make "jart" (junk + art = jart). They tried to make art out of junk and came up with some pretty interesting creations. We had a great time.
"Isn't he a little old for you, Abbie?"

No self-respecting artist can create masterpieces without sticking out his tongue.
I'm posting these photos because, come on, an ice-cream covered face is funny.

What a dedicated brusher.

Also, Abbie had a violin recital last Saturday. She did great. She played two pieces—Bourree and Two Grenadiers. She has another recital this Saturday where she'll be judged. We wish her luck.

What a fun evening. The evening really looked fun. Abbie the "fiddle" playing was great. Was so glad I could see your recital. Good luck this Saturday. Are you going to play the same two numbers?

Have a great week Andersons.
