Is The Tooth Fairy Prejudice?

Adam is now the proud owner of a gaping space between the central and lateral incisors. His first lost tooth. It's impressive. He's showing it off to anyone who's interested. He may charge you for the privilege, however. He said the Tooth Fairy didn't bring him as much as she did to his buddy at school. Of all the nerve! So he's trying to make up the difference.

He has a few more teeth that are close to coming out. Maybe he can leave the Tooth Fairy a note indicating his extensive knowledge on what the standard rate on baby teeth are these days. Next time, dear Tooth Fairy, don't try to pull one over on him.

You could tell Adam that Sister Nakaya got 20c for her front tooth and 50c for her big one.
Do you think that'd make him feel better?

The Tooth Fairy pays a dollar for teeth at our house. Unless it's knocked out and then she pays 5 dollars.

Adam, You are looking good!! What I remember the Tooth Fairy bringing us... back in the day was coins. No dallar bills. What is the going rate these days for teeth anyway?

Years ago, our Justin lost a tooth while staying the night at his grandparents home. He put his tooth under his pillow and got a dollar that night, but the absent-minded Tooth Fairy forgot to take the tooth. Sooo... the next night Justin put the same tooth under his pillow again in the hopes of collecting on it a second time. Sure enough he could, but the second night he only got a quarter. So tell Adam to hang in there as I think the TF is flexible and can be negotiated with.
