Abbie and Adam had a piano recital last week. They played really well and they've been working very hard to prepare for the recital. This was Adam's first. Their efforts were rewarded with ice-cream at the local Arctic Circle.
Conner and I went on a camp-out with the Scouts over the weekend. It was a service-oriented camp-out at the Lions Club gun range. They helped clean up the unbroken clay targets at the range. In return, the Lions Club allowed the boys to spend the night in the warmth of the Lions clubhouse instead of outside in tents—the difference of a 70° night and a 20° night. We shot (or shot at) clay pigeons and had a round of target practice at the rifle range. As you would expect, the boys were much more interested in earning merit badges for shooting shotguns and rifles than they were to earn the "Environmental Conservation" merit badge.
We had a lot of fun. I've posted a few photos of the fun below.

Fun times! I wonder if I could borrow that gavel to bring order to my house. Haha
Loved the pix...especially the expressions on Adam's face. I could see Maren in a couple of them....Adam is a Harris for sure.
Good stance on the shooting pix, Conner.
Thanks for posting. I've been such a slackard lately on my blog. I've got to repent.....soon.
