It's the Fourth Of July Holiday Weekend and we have two great things to celebrate. 1. The birth of our country.
2. The third year anniversary of Abbie's recovery from abdominal surgery and superbug infection. She came home on the 3rd of July, 2007. She's as healthy as she's ever been. We're so thankful for that.
Below is a run-down of the weekend fun.

Erica's dad was the featured speaker at a patriotic morning side flag raising ceremony. He did a great job.

Breakfast was served afterwards.

Then we went to see the parade in Centerville. A lot of salt water taffy was consumed by the kids at the parade.

This photo is for my sisters. They are big Kevin Eubank fans. (The channel 5 weatherman) Halfway through the parade we noticed that Mr. Eubank was watching the parade with his family right next to us. A covert photo was taken as documentation.

Conner was in the parade this year playing trombone with the Junior High Jazz Band.

Adam wanted a photo taken in front of the dune buggies.

After the parade we went to the park and let the kids do some of the activities including the rock climbing wall.

Our weekend included fireworks, as well. A professional show in Centerville and a more amateur display in the street in front of our house.
Happy Fourth Of July!
