Every once in a while, your kids can say something that makes you feel like you're the center of their universe—that you're pretty amazing. It doesn't happen very often, so I appreciate the rare occasions that it does. On Friday, for a few brief moments, I was "Daddy, The Universe Master."
It was raining as I was driving home from work. As I pulled into our driveway, I noticed a full rainbow just above the foothills to the East of our house. I went inside and gathered everyone to catch a glimpse of nature's masterwork. Everyone stood on the back porch, duly impressed. It was then that I picked up Christian and directed his attention to the sky. He studied it briefly and then asked, "Daddy, did you make it?"

That is too cute!
Awwwww that's fantastic.
The pure innocence of children....I love it. That is way cute, Christian. I should send you a pic to match your story Ry. I also saw that very rainbow and it was gorgeous.....so big that I couldn't get back far enough to get the whole thing in one photo.
Not every Dad would take the time to show his kids a rainbow....believe me, most don't. You're one special "Universe Daddy". Love ya.
Oh....Christian knows his Daddy is an artist....to him, you very well could have done that. I can see where he's comin' from.
