Zoo Field Trips

With the school season underway, Christian has found that he has much more one-on-one time with mom. So every morning Christian does "homework." He's learning important things like how to write his name, his phone number, his address, the alphabet, numbers, colors—and the list goes on. But the best part of his education experience are the "field trips." A couple times a week, they visit places like the zoo and the aquarium. They've already been to the zoo three times in three weeks. They let me tag along with them today. Christian said that his favorite animal of the day was the llama. I'm surprised. With animals the likes of the King Cobra and a myriad of monkeys, you wouldn't think that the llama would have much of a chance as the favorite. Maybe I'm missing something.
