It seems hard to believe. It happened so fast. But Conner is 12 years old already. He marked the occasion by inviting some of his friends to the pool for a birthday party celebration. After a couple of hours in the pool, they worked up some mean appetites. So, we had pizza and veggie trays. Surprisingly, there was a truck-load of veggies still left on the tray when the empty pizza boxes were thrown away. I guess a couple of hours in the pool only works up cravings of pepperoni and cheese. Strange.
The next day, Conner was ordained a Deacon. It was a great day. We had a lot of family in town for the ordination. It will be fun for me to see Conner pass the sacrament and collect fast offerings. Did I already mention that it seems hard to believe that he's growing up so fast?

Congrats to Conner! It's going to be fun watching him pass the sacrament. He's such a good kid.
I totally love that the girls are sitting at a different table!
Hey - Can I ask... who is the girl wearing blue on the back row of your family picture? I know her from somewhere, but I can't place her name or how I know her. Help me out, please...
Thanks!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CONNOR!!!
I am so excited to have Connor pass the sacrament. He's such a great kid! Love that my daughter sat at a different table than all the boys.
What a good lookin' kid! Sydni had a great time at the party and is happy Connor is now in Young Men's so they can play basketball together. Thanks for inviting her!
Wow, Connor is 12? Time flies. We have only been in the ward for almost 3yrs. but it still feels like he should be in primary. Weird!
