Don't Rain On My Parade

We went to the Wellsville Founders Day parade today. It rained. But, the parade still went on.  People on parade floats were hunkered under umbrellas, throwing candy that promptly landed in dirty rain filled gutters. But, that didn't stop us. Come rain or shine.

We went to a barbeque after the parade at my grandparent's home. It was moved indoors. But, we still had a great time visiting with family despite the weather. Later that afternoon, the sun came out and it looked like perfect parade weather. Murphy rules again!

This was the Nibley, Utah royalty, clad in jeans and jackets. I'm sure they didn't want to get their dresses soaked.
After lunch, we went down to the Wellsville duck pond. You'll notice that Adam has a wrist-rocket in this photo. Take comfort in knowing that it was NOT used to hurl rocks at the ducks. But, he did ask.

You all looked way too happy to be out in the rain.
