The summer is halfway through already. Before we know it the kids will be back in school. With this in mind, we've been taking full advantage of the warm temperatures and no homework by planning wall-to-wall activities. Between camp-outs, family vacations and miscellaneous fun, we've been able to fill up the summer days quite nicely—with a heaping helping of daily jobs and chores to round out the cheerful monotony. However, if you ask the kids, they'd say the monotony doesn't need to be messed with.
Here's what we've been up to the past few days.

Here are the kids at Pineview Reservoir. They played on the beach building sandcastles, swimming and soaking up the sun.

We also went to the 24th of July activities at the park. There were games, concession stands and pioneer activities. The cousins from California are still here so it made the day even more fun for the kids. The parade was fun for the kids as well, where salt water taffy was collected and eaten to excess.

Adam has been sucking on the collars of all his shirts lately which has been wreaking havoc on his wardrobe as you can see in the above photo. Maybe we should rub vegetable flavoring on his collars. That would do the trick for sure.

Riding the Barrel Roll.

We took turns pulling the kids around in the handcart.

Jake and Makenna riding the swings.

The kids had to wait in an hour-long line for this bungee jumper activity. They said it was worth the wait. I've posted some of the bungee fun below.
