Halloween 2009

Today will go down in the annals of history as a day that the clouds parted and the heavens smiled down quite favorably on a two year old boy—a boy named Christian. This little cowpoke was elated to find that when he dressed up like a cowboy today, all the neighbors were willing to part with their coveted stashes of candy. Does it get any better? In the eyes of a two year old, I think not. He was the happiest little buckaroo this side of the Mississippi.

The older kids are used to the generous display of candy contributions on Halloween, but they still get pretty excited to see how full they can get their bags by night's end. They all came home with enough loot to keep our dentist busy for awhile.
The Queen Of Hearts, A Cowgirl, and a vampire.
Here we have Robin Hood.
Poor Adam was sick today (of all the lousy luck). He was so disappointed. He dressed up anyway. We told him he could go to a few select neighbors' houses to get his Halloween experience for this year.
We carved pumpkins today. The weather was great so we did it outside.

We celebrated my sister's birthday earlier today. Happy birthday Ashlee!
And here we have all the party goers just before we sang the best rendition of "Happy Birthday" you've ever heard in your life.

It's so wonderful to watch your children faces as they realize that EVERYONE IS JUST GIVING OUT CANDY.
It was Yuki's turn this year and it was a riot.
Happy Halloween guys.
