Birthday Bash

Two birthdays were celebrated over the weekend—one for a girl turning one, and one for a girl turning...a little bit older than that.

Erica had a birthday over the weekend and we celebrated in style by going to my niece, Aliza's birthday party. It had a carnival theme, complete with a fishing tank, prize center and caricature booth, among many other activities. The whole family was there and we partied like it was 1999 and ate like there was no tomorrow. Thanks for letting us come to such an awesome party, Tyler and Shannon. You've got your work cut out for you to top that one.

After the party, we came home and celebrated even more. We went to dinner at this great little restaurant in town called the "Sego Lily." Fun was had by all.

Happy birthday, Erica and Aliza. Check out the photos of the revelry below.
There was an actual fishing tank/pool.
You can see the fish in this photo. The kids were able to take home what they caught. We took home 3 goldfish.

Here's Tyler, "The Master Of Ceremonies."
And here's sweet little Aliza. The following photos are misleading. She really was happy most of the day. But you know how the saying goes, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to."
