Last week was full of musical goodness. On Saturday, Abbie and a couple of her friends performed a piano recital for the neighborhood. The thing that makes this particular recital extraordinary is that these three girls decided to do the recital themselves and carried out all of the necessary arrangements. Several weeks ago they started a weekly practice to prepare themselves for the performance. They made hand-outs and delivered them around the neighborhood. And they created the programs, as well. They thought of every detail right down to what we'd be having for treats. Needless to say, the recital was great. Thanks for the musical extravaganza, ladies.

We also attended a street party last week where the Joe Muscolino band was performing. One of our neighbors, Michael Huff, is the keyboardist. They played well past dark. It was a lot of fun. The street party also doubled as a going-away party for Michael. His family will be moving to Logan in a few weeks. They will be missed. It was a very fun evening.

They are very talented girls. I love that they put this together! They can all sign it off as a thing in their Faith In God books! :)
I'm really sad that Micheal Huff is moving away. The stake choirs will never be the same.............. :(
