The Anderson Pine Tree Forest

A little over a year ago, we awoke to find our yard filled to capacity with discarded Christmas trees. Someone had gone to a considerable effort to deposit all of these trees in our front yard under the cloak of night. In total, there were somewhere between 30-40 orphaned trees. Our kids thought it was the best thing that has ever happened in our neighborhood. On closer inspection, I noticed a large sign sticking up through the largest of the tree clumps that read, "USED CHRISTMAS TREES FOR SALE." Nice! A practical joke. And a pretty good one, too.

After a week or two of asking friends and neighbors if they had seen or heard anything, we finally found out who the perpetrators were. I won't tell you who it was. I'll just give you a small hint. Their last name starts with an "L" and ends with an "emon."

It was pretty funny hearing how it all went down. Two trailers full of trees and a lot stealth actions in the middle of the night. Well played gentlemen...well played.

I told them that retribution would be coming. But it's hard to beat a joke like that. Plus, they keep taking us water skiing. Oh, they're a cunning bunch.

That's a pretty good joke.
How did you get rid of them all?
Lots of wood for the fire?
Did anyone buy any?
Love the Lemons.
