Conner recently had the opportunity to meet Clay Christiansen (Mormon Tabernacle Choir organist) and play the organ at the conference center in Salt Lake City. Brother Christiansen had heard that Conner, and a few other Young Men in our Ward, had been called to serve as Ward Organists. He invited them to come to the conference center where he treated them to a mini concert and allowed them to try out the pipe organ. The interesting thing about large pipe organs is that once a key is depressed, it sends a puff of air to the pipes. The air usually takes a half second or so from the time the key is pressed to the time you hear the sound. Conner said that it definitely takes a while to get used to the delay.

Wow! Awesome. Conner, someday you might just sit there "for real". Something to work for. You look really good on that bench.
