Several years ago, we told Abbie that she could get her ears pierced when she was 12 years old. That day came much more quickly than we thought possible. Our little girl is growing up much too fast for my liking. So last night, Abbie and a couple of her friends went to get the job done. She was quite nervous as you can see in the above photo, but when all was said and done, she said it didn't really hurt much.
Here she is getting the first one done.

And here she is with her friends. All of them sporting their new earrings. Now quit growing up so fast.

I still feel so happy to have randomly been a small part of this. It was super exciting and Abbie was very brave!!
