Happy Birthday, Mom

We went to Salina this past weekend to celebrate my mom's 29th birthday. (I figure in mom years, 1 year equals roughly 2.06896552) The whole family was there to mark the occasion with food, fun and festivities. Notable festivities were a flight in my dad's airplane, a Piper Cherokee aircraft—and we also went 4-wheeling. We spent an afternoon of toasting and roasting the guest of honor—my mom. It was a great weekend. I have exceptional parents who always go out of their way to make make us feel loved and entertain us when we visit.

Happy birthday mom. We love you.
My mom.

Co-pilot Conner.
Here's Dad, Conner, Abbie and Adam taking off on the first flight of the morning. Once in the air, the kids were able to fly the plane and earn their Young Eagles certificates.
We flew over the temple in Manti.
The weather was nice enough that we were able to spend a lot of time outside.

Abbie decided that she was brave enough to go solo on the 4-wheelers this time.

It looks like you had a lot of fun. Christen is too cute. I can see so many things going through his head in that picture.

What a fun weekend you had. Who knew Salina could be so fun. I don't think anyone else earned their Young Eagles Certification over the weekend. That is so awesome! Thanks so much for the baking soda this morning.
