Basketball And A Music Loving Parakeet

Conner had his first Jr. Jazz basketball game of the season tonight. There are only six guys on the team so they were pretty tired at the end of the game. And the bright side of only having six players is that no one complains about not getting enough time in the game.

The parents all yelled helpful advice to the team like, "Get open!" and "Shoot it!" What would our boys do without such sage parental wisdom?

Did they win? Let's just say they all had a great time.

And on a completely unrelated subject, Abbie has found that the family pet (our parakeet, Winkle) loves to sit on her music stand and listen to her practice the violin. Winkle's quite the music aficionado.
