Slip-N-Slide Of Immense Proportions

There are quite possibly many of you that could've sworn you were hearing an inordinate amount of rolling thunder in the distance last Saturday afternoon. But I must come clean. That "thunder" you were hearing was something much more entertaining than Ol' Mother Nature's rumblings. Yes, that "thunder" was none other than the quasi-sonic boom speeds that were being reached on the "Slip-n-Slide of Immense Proportions!" Yep, the SNSOIP was back for another onslaught of fun as land speed records were set and broken all afternoon. The Dopler effect was in rare form.

Take a gander.

It goes without saying that a fun time was had by all. But to add the icing on the cake to a near-perfect day of fun-in-the-sun, we broke out the grill and cooked up hot dogs and burgers, as well. Thanks to everyone who helped make the day so much fun.

You guys sure know how to party! Maybe next year you'll have to add some dish soap to increase the speed and up the records! ;) 'Hope your fam is doing good and having a great summer! Love you guys!

We're one step ahead of ya. We should try different brands to see which is best for greater speed.
